Meaning of Ardour - 'to do something with great enthusiasm or passion'.
Ardour Building & Renovations is a Brisbane based building company specialising in renovations, extensions & custom new builds. Having 20+ years experience within the industry, Stephen Hamilton had a vision to lead a trusted team of professionals to produce high quality workmanship with efficiency… bringing beautiful designs to life.
We pride ourselves on open & clear communication between designer - clients - builder & know this results in a calm, collaborative & transparent experience for your clients.
Ardour's ideals bring high quality carpenters & trades together who enjoy working with all diverse designs and evolving materials. On site, we have invested in using Festool products which support our high standard of finishing with tools designed for precision work, also offering a large range of dust free tools making for a cleaner & safer environment.

Steve
Director/Builder
Hi I'm Steve, owner & leader at Ardour Building.
My passion is delivering premium finishes on all projects together with an enjoyable & transparent experience to all of our clients. Being in the building industry for 22 years, I can say these years have shaped the high standard my team delivers, alongside the comfort I find in working with innovative designs.
When I'm not at work you'll find me watching my two girls play sports, going for a run, on the golf course & flipping out the camper trailer with my family.

Hi I'm Raist,
I am a lead carpenter & have been working with Ardour for 7 years as a senior member on site. I enjoy guiding and passing on the Ardour values & standards to the younger boys and watching them develop.
When I'm not working, you will find me driving up the beach, enjoying live music & travelling to new places.

Hi, my name is Josh,
I am a fully qualified Carpenter & have been a part of the Ardour team for 5 years. My strengths are my attention to detail & enthusiasm to take on new technical challenges on site.
When I'm not working, you'll find me playing dodgeball, watching the footy & having a few beers with my mates.

Hi, I'm Michael,
I am the youngest member of the Ardour team. I am a driven apprentice, learning off our team & applying my new skills of quality finishing, learning to read plans & problem solving on site every day.
When I'm not working, you'll find me playing footy, catching up with mates and doing small jobs for friends and family on the weekends.
